 Save The Brandywine Battlefield The historic Brandywine Battlefield (only minutes from the Inn) and the site of the largest land battle of the Revolutionary War is in danger of closing due to cutbacks in state funding. The Tory Inne is a proud participant in the "Reservations for Preservation" program initiated by the Brandywine Valley Bed & Breakfast Association, and is donating $1 per reservation to help keep the Battlefield open to the public. Each Guest Suite is tastefully furnished with 18th Century English Antiques and reproduction pieces. Portraits from the National Portrait Gallery in London are displayed through-out the Inne depicting British Royalty and Military leaders during the American Rebellion (British Perspective) or Revolutionary War (American Perspective). Guests enjoy Williamsburg King Size Mahogany Four Poster Beds adorned with colourful Williamsburg bedding and fitted with Egyptian cotton linens. All three Guest Suites have large private bathrooms, Cable television, High-speed Internet access and Central Air Conditioning.
At the 1800 Tory Inne, we use only Method all purpose cleaners which are non-toxic, biodegradable, naturally derived and never tested on animals.
